BlueA Poem by Mitchell J.U.A love poem to death.
Dearest Madam, Lovely Miss
Tell me true How many men have lain with you? Or set your cheeks to the color of a rose with their kiss. Could it be Oh dearest madam, Lovely miss I have done the same for you? Or has my kiss turned your rose cheeks to that sickly shade of blue. A simple fix! Warm blood from fingertips May turn your cheeks of chilling blue To the color of rose again. Dearest Madam, Lovely Miss Then may I lie with you As with all your lovers And praise your immortal beauty That falls short of many others. For I have seen true beauty And your eyes are lacking luster of its shine. So Dearest Madam, Lovely Miss Sympathies I offer you To see your crimson cheeks Fade to that sickly shade of blue Still many men have and will be lain with you I find your offer too generous to accept. Oh Dearest, Madam Lovely Miss! To lay in cold embrace And be forgotten in this bed while Men await you over head, I must decline. I have many years to waste Before we share our glass of wine. Please, Dearest Madam, Lovey Miss Await me fondly As I wait for you Until my rosy cheeks have matched Your sickly shade of blue. No simple fix. Nor blood from fingertips Will turn my cheeks of chilling blue To rose again. So Dearest Madam, Lovely Miss How many men have lain with you? Or turned your cheeks to The color of a rose with their kiss Can it be oh Dearest Madam, Lovely miss I have done the same for you? Or has this kiss turn my rose cheeks To your sickly shade of blue. © 2011 Mitchell J.U.Reviews
