Two Specks of Dust UniteA Poem by Mitchell J.U.
Here is to the lofty,
burdened only by their desires. Floating on the very air they breathe for one another. Here is to the mothers Their love for every child Fatherless fathers charged with resurrection. The feeders The breeders The discussed and disgusting The quickest sickness, sickening. The cure The loss for winning. Here is where A bowl is shattered. An egg is cracked upon the cellar wall. Tears are shed And love becomes one, once more. Here is when two specks of dust unite. A world oblivious Where someone takes a blow to the head from a hammer Where someone guides an elderly woman through a door. Where the lofty are burdened only by their desires. Cracked egg dries upon the cellar wall.
