My SonA Poem by mitaliA poem I wrote about two years back. I dont remember where this absurd, weird idea came to me at that teen age, but it did. Ps: It's also published in a poetry anthology called 'Purple Hues'.The sun melts into the sea The beach gets void slowly. There are your cloths lying
beside me As you surf deep in the sea. You look wonderful waving Balancing you way on the wave. Your kiss still lingers on my
cheek And the hug from you that I crave
Your mother can’t be prouder Of the beautiful son you’ve
been all along. You’ll be back one day, don’t
worry I’ll be here forever, my son.
Waves aren’t that immense or
strong To drown the spirits of an
innocent soul. Nature’s compassionate darling, It’ll bring you back to me one
fine morning.
Your mother will wait right
here Where she saw you slide off
the surfboard And lose your balance into the
sea. Nature’s compassionate enough
darling, It’ll bring you back to me.
Now close your eyes and go to
sleep You’ll wake up to be in a calm
white space. Where no evil, no wrong
reaches You’ll be safer there" in my
heart, in heaven.
And even now you look
wonderful waving As you walk up the heaven’s
stairs bidding me adieu. Hush hush don’t cry now,
darling Tonight, I’ll come to you. © 2015 mitali |
