Game of Fate

Game of Fate

A Story by Mitali Shah
"

Life is all about twists and turns

"

Her cheeks were shying red yesterday

Today they are reddened with blood

Vermillion on her forehead

Replaced by blood tonight

Flowers for first night

Turned out to be garland for coffin

Moans of passion

Redressed by mourns of revenge

Sheets were stained

But she was missing

Tears of happiness

Turn into tears of sad farewell

Red and green bangles on her wrists

Turned out to be iron handcuffs of his wrists

Bright lights in the room

Followed by dim

Replacing love story

Into worst nightmare

A sad story in the poetry. Sweet dreams turn to pain and suffering.

It is very well written, but hard to read. I am not as fond of sad stories.
