BenadrylA Poem by scarlynnBenadryl, when taken in large doses, creates a delirium.
Oh God do I miss her,
tiny bites of fuschia, sitting in my palm. Thirty slide through my flesh, her romance in my veins, flipping the timer over and over until she speaks. Moths swarm my skull, erasing the bad and chewing the ugly- what is left? Flash delirium. Owl-eyed, big as miss Luna, insects dart from the sides and circle around in joy. A pit opens up, underground, that's why I'm writing this letter. Sandpaper tanned and ready for something I can't recall. What was the question? Yes I'd like to join, what about you? Has your shadow reached back yet? I don't know if I will ever flower but I feel this rain haunting me to the dirt.
