about mean girls/frenemies

Some slanted Grecian evil 

inverted horoscope of a portrait,

your flower petals litter 

lawns tended harmoniously - 

your poison lies dormant.

The sweetest bear trap 

gleaming steeled teeth reflect 

my own lonely eyes - 

green going gray - 

I seek refuge in your radiance.

Wake up dead and hung,

my teeth falling out, 

but gracefully.

Your silhouette sways overhead,

marionette strings pour from your mouth 

as you cackle.
