Last Man Standng

Last Man Standng

A Poem by Kristina Moulaison

One by one

they walk

into the night

and I am left

on a pier

facing the sunset

alone-

my words,

all that remain

to carry

the weight

of

their story.

Intriguing. I am captivated by the ones who walked one by one into the night. Did they leave the pier to board a ship, or did they journey into the landscape? A most intriguing little poem. I hope you will explore their story.
