![]() Martyr's CryA Poem by Kristina Moulaison![]() The world wants to vanquish all wisdom and yet the light of its burning illuminates the darkness that surrounds it.![]() A lofting voice must fall, alight to air its truth, a proper sacrifice for hearkening bells, quiet glory sweet sage help, an offering of spice, a fledgling sunrise cocooned in cloak and ash lying fallow til many a darkened night relents an intrepid morning, releasing dove without return at last, a patch of ground to seed, found- a newly minted clapper in felt wearing hard against metal, until the curtain asunder should tear rings in rippling avalanche- Messiah's widened arms still nailed, as bound as witches that both burn as bright, aloft creations felled, sacred tree © 2014 Kristina MoulaisonFeatured Review
