A Terrible Grace

A Terrible Grace

A Poem by Kristina Moulaison

While the vast darkness

between stars

keeps me cradled in the arms

of a silent grace

the holding up of

a failing heart

in need of night's

blanket of solace

a covering sufficient

deeming me

forgetful enough

to lay beneath

and take

in breath

enveloped in morning's

blaring light

where giant bodies looming

black out the sun

as Jupiter appears ready

to swallow the earth

in a swirl of Mother's

twirling skirts

terrible and hungry

for blood sprinkled

ruin

how ridiculously

precarious we sit

atop

a teetering pin

life is precarious...for sure.

the way of the planets...what mother earth can do to us...nature gets its revenge eventually for all the abuse we give it..

beautifully written poetry here.

I write. Read me. We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, la.. more..
