![]() Your faceA Poem by Kristina MoulaisonYou cannot hide the tender strong hand that guides your will the ways that you see what others cannot the way you sit and ponder feed a wandering bird from your hand watching it as it teeters and flies and feel the wind against its wings the warmth of the sun against the breeze as it draws near You cannot hide behind masks that disfigure the beauty within a heart holding such manifold kindness that extoles truth above the darkness the voice of a warrior battling with words for what is right You cannot hide the courage in silence that you bare biting back the unbearable slight of a blind and bitter world as you touch each wound, seeing all the injustice without the blinders and buffers that close so many eyes to the pain I see you plainly, purely behind the blue mist that shrouds you in shadow... none of your faces can scare me away
