The Dance

The Dance

A Poem by Kristina Moulaison

On the edge of madness

and bliss

where I marinate

my heart swollen, teetering

flutters wildly on the cusp

of a long awaited orgasm

panting stilted breath

through clenched teeth

clenched eyelids

furrowed brow

where I formulate

a regulated flow

dispensing passion

condensed to droplets

our fingertips touching

feather light upon my keyboard

where i can imagine

your eyes flutter back

closing around tiny bursts

your head tilted back

rolling salted honey

over a parched tongue

swallowing a sharp ray

of soft new light

soulful glances pregnant with intent

skim across rippling water

blow swift atop restless sand

swoon lofty and burrow

within folds, laid bare

inside places

I cannot touch

without a pen

I get some sort of exchange of passion through a keyboard. The very last line though, seems to indicate something more, something deeper than a physical level ... a place where, perhaps only the words of a poem can reach. This is what I feel in these words.

You saw quite rightly. I was just charmed by your wording. I'm easily entertained.

yes, those places we can't touch without pen...and we only hope that person's heart will read us, and pick up his or her pen to reciprocate the touch.

you really are smooth in the flow of your words.

this is one of those writes which grasps the reader by the logic and throws it out the window, replacing it with pure pleasure and abandon. i absolutely love this piece!
