Awaken

A poem about life, reality, illusions, etc.

  Life is an illusion...

An intricate, twisted game...

  There are so many different realities...

That no tow are the same...

  After all the darkness clears...

And, you start to see a light...

  Your eyes will blur and start to sting...

As you slowly regain your sight...

  Slowly you'll reawaken...

Alive but in a dream...

  Everything will seem familiar...

But, things aren't what they seem...

Life does seem like an illusion. We think we see something but it’s actually something else. People differ in perception too and no two views are the same. This makes it all the more confusing. I enjoyed this read.
