oranges

oranges

A Poem by misterfebus

smiles made of peel
memories are so real
that stings the eye
laugh and fake cry,
you lick the goodness dry
its tangy sweet surprise..
lingers in your mouth for some time
as does the hope of deja'vu
that springs the image
of me and you.

this is such a lovely poem! i love how you used an orange to represent someone's lost love (if i'm interpreting correctly, haha) - a great read!
