Prologue

Kira sighed letting her pencil tap against the wood of her cramped desk. School was far from the most exciting part of her life but it was needed for success.

It wasn't the learning part that bothers her. It was the students, the mean kids, the gossip, the hopeless boys. Kira was the reject  the one with close no friends, No boyfriends And the only in her grade who's never been kissed

She couldn't help it that boys weren't interesting. Not the ones in her school atleast they are immature idiots Who can't keep there pervy comments To themselves. But she didn't really want a man, she wanted to survive and leave Serenity. To finally be free from her past and all off her ghosts.

Meanwhile on the other side of town.......

"Empty again." He grumbled, His fingers skidding the sides of his
Wine flute. "It never lasts long enough. It never is as satisfying"  He breathed letting it fall onto his desk. "I hate being good. I need something fresh" He licked his coppery lips ."And the cards fall into place"
