Broken In, Broken OutA Poem by MissRedmy sleepy mind just started writing this out at 3 am. i refused to get up and write it all down. i'm sure it was better then but this is what i rememberyou came in so easily, quietly, nearly undetected blew in from under my tightly closed doors crept through a space in between the window and sill i was afraid at first, an unwelcome invader you were but i came to embrace you, a stranger no more trusted you, began to need to you there we had a become a home together, i thought but you revolted, pushed me away, why? you broke the doors to rush out one day shattered my windows into thousands of shards of glass left the inside a mess of disorder and disaster everything overturned and in pieces i have searched every corner, every closet, every space but the simple fact remains the same you've cleaned me out, taken everything valuable so that nothing is left but an emptiness inside
