Stronger

Stronger

A Poem by MissRed

you opened your soul in one sudden moment
and heart ached as it slowly fell down
i could lift it back up
i wanted your hurt right then so i might destroy it
but we both know it doesn't work that way
i would have held you to my chest
like a mother holds her tired child,
pulling out whatever is left after the day is gone
and when it was over
we could both be stronger than before.
