Disappear

Disappear

A Poem by MissRed

Where did she disappear to?
My little angel
Hiding in a cloak of seclusion.
Hiding from me, the only one who loved her.
If I call her name, will she come?
I doubt it.
I can almost feel her now,
sleeping deep in my arms,
Me whispering into the softness of her hair,
"I love you."
I would never let her go again.
The second time is better, they say.
But will I ever know?
Will I ever feel an innocent child's touch
Quite like my daughter's
Before
She disappeared?
