the sun has gone down and the house is still
with a quiet lonliness that i know to well
i see you flash before my closed eyes
a memory i reach out to grab
for i miss you and want to feel you once again
but slip away as easily as you did that day
i swallow and inhale, i try to relax through
your memory that i want and hate both
and i can't let go though i try
deep down inside i ache too much
and i try and i try
but it is no use
you are a ghost living in me
