D(e)ad

D(e)ad

A Poem by missrain
"

An old poem written for my beloved late Dad

"

If I could trade places with you I would...

Coz it's the only thing I could do in this world

I've so much to tell you but you've gone for good

Please forgive me, it's all my fault

The girl's insane, the girl you used to hold

Her life is short, her eyes turned to cold

Each time I saw your face in my dreams

I ached to say the words I long to scream

The fairytales you used to tell me aren't what they seem

They only exist on TV screen

Rise from grave I beg you, Father!

You're not D(e)ad), you're my Father!

You said you love me and Mother

but why did you leave us in this Gutter?

That was one of the interesting concept about father / daughter I've ever read in so long. It's really a sad piece to read...

On the other hand, it's all still good tho. By the way, sorry for your loss...

Very clever and beautiful. The emotion is so strong. Really sad too. Good job.
