A Glimpse of RDJ - #2

A Poem by Patty Neff
"

One of my "celeb" poems.

"

When the little boy found
What he had looked all of his life for
He knew the only direction to go was forward
Which happened to be out through his front door
And when he came out from that darkness
That he had been in for so long
He realized how much different life would be
And began to sing a brighter brand new song
The sunshine was so bright and beautiful
And there was a small cool breeze upon his face
He knew that once again
He had re-entered the "real human race"
However, this time there was nothing to keep him from achieving a personal best
This time around, he loved himself first and gave up on the rest
So what can I say about the little boy that should
Well, he did and now he's a man and I think he'll stay that way for good.

"He had re-entered the "real human race"
like a child actor that attempts to be "normal" again, nice work
Thank you for entering my contest
