lucifer, not god, the gracious one

lucifer, not god, the gracious one

A Poem by hanzabonanza

I have sold my soul

for the price of a drink

to dance with the devil

he is an unforgiving man

usually not taking fools

I am his exception

and along with my soul

he has plucked out my eyes

to keep as his own

I no longer need to see

my empty form

he has now possessed

and to add to his pile

he has claimed my hands

twisted off from my wrists

no more sweet music

I'll make

or skin to touch

yet despite what I've become

I still surrender to him

leaving my past behind

I still long for his

hot-lipped burn

and cool ice blue gaze

I love his cruelty

because I feel

that's all I deserve

his fury

is my release

his loving hatred intoxicating

most of all I want to be

consumed by his fiery inferno

and never return

he is sitting now

in the corner of the room

watching me

licking my blood

off his hands

like a cat

delicious sin

he says to me

eyes twinkling

don’t you want a try?
