the blurred memory

the blurred memory

A Poem by hanzabonanza

I hold your shimmering image
in my hands
like a shiny polaroid picture
still warm from the camera
but so much sunlight
seeps out of the small square
and makes my fingers tingle
so your face remains
the tantalising shadow
only satisfied til you are here
in my arms again
