behind my eyelids

dive in

to my world

under the whispering

inky sky

brimming with stars

where there lies waiting

an ocean of discovery

warm waters

sweet to the tongue

that do not burn

or leave a burning thirst

they engulf your

soft pale body

that shines in the moonlight

your clothes

abandoned

on the silky sand

still warm from the

midday sun

and as you break the waves

you feel freer

than ever before

the moon shines 

through the water

and there is a another world

just inches from your toes

you kick them gleefully

euphoric

a human dolphin

there is a lush jungle

waiting by the shore

so you swim back

longing to explore it

the water still dripping 

down your breasts

as you move from

sand to leaves underfoot

parting the trees

the animals nod

a silent greeting to

their red headed queen

returning to her land

falling asleep

on a bed of jasmine

knowing you are 

surrounded by me
