14.35 Cardiff to Brighton

14.35 Cardiff to Brighton

A Poem by hanzabonanza

such lovely freckles

purpose: for the praying of lips

and fingers noble exploration

dark mouth

bitten focus

with the Observer

lain across the train table

share a smile

like the carriage you sit in

she takes it for granted

you feel blessed

absent tired eyes

like clear water

from behind her glasses

watch the fading light

two lines intersecting

for just an hour

that melancholy music

relaxing your soul

Early Winter

you have perfected

patience as an art-form

content to watch and breathe

not long now

til the lines move apart

get off. change trains

go on to somewhere else

roaming

for the next one to leach off

she’s pensive

and you’re regretful

A53

going on to Brighton

(what skies will you see there?)

A50

Exeter. Not home, but making do

so far

Is this happiness?

surreal graze of mind~ the aura is gorgeous glossy b&w in words linked like the tracks that move the hearts into the next frame~
