Anomaly

Anomaly

A Poem by hanzabonanza
"

easter one

"

I still smell your stench

Hovering on my clothes

Body aches from each embrace

Mind recoils from the memory

Your words are distorted

And no longer hurt me

A tennis ball against the wall

I laugh as they bounce back at you

And so to survive

I froze myself- til I couldn’t feel

So silent, so harsh

It was the only way

I offer no apology

No regret

For the pain I have caused

Just the one line

I repeat til you understand

It was all a mistake
