another spring

another spring

A Poem by hanzabonanza

and then

the clouds shift

from the sun

and all tumbles

forth

like your words

"you look so beautiful"

your smile

etched from ear to ear

a summer half moon

and the hug is free

and needed

your hair and skin

oxygen

after months

of siege

we part and already

my throat is clearing

the happy tears

on my cheeks

wishes that

bring hopes

of renewal

to life

one day the

tree will

stand tall above

our head

and we will

bask in its

shade together
