unrivalled

unrivalled

A Poem by hanzabonanza

I can’t keep from smiling

as your tongue traces your lips

and your lashes flutter down

we are sharing the same thought

the urgency of your mouth

tells me as much

the room is hot

so we stand by the window

cool night air

caresses your skin

in competition with my hands

we deftly move between roles

the preying and preyed upon

in between each moment

in between each kiss

your eyes, wide

brilliant blue

shine in the evening light

reflecting my awe for you

back at me

even after our large dinner

we are still hungry

ravenous

for flesh

and you are the sweetest

thing I’ve tasted (not enough, not enough)

your hips mould into mine

the kisses burn deeper

and I see glimmers

of what is yet to come

and like before

my heart is racing

running away out of reach

later

I fall asleep

with the taste of you

still lingering

dreaming of the curve

of your neck

sloping down

to somewhere wonderful
