Death of Mother

Pull it together people

   Mother Earth gazed upon us with a sorrowful eye.

   Her body was rotted out by our sick demise.

   Her outer body was deteriorated. She was suffocating because we cut down her trees. Her blood was toxic. Her soil was heated from radiation.

   Mother did not understand us. She wanted to know why we did what we did. How did she welcome us on her? Maybe she wasn’t taking care f herself and developed this virus.

   She gave up. She let go of her body and turned into another form. The form of the enemy that was making her ill.

   A human.

   During her race to understand, things got worse. With her gone, the planet died.

   It stopped raining. The water ran dry. The wind stopped blowing. All life forms died. The humans choked on the very things that Mother Earth choked on
