Sunshine

Sunshine

A Poem by Amelie Poulain

The rainbow is a place to stay,

A place to play.

Grass and trees,

A lovely breeze.

The world could not survive,

So just dive.

Into the bluest waters seen,

Bluer than the bluest scene.

From the yellow submarine.

Tomorrow is a brand new day,

You can waste your time away.

But I will stare up at the sun,

While you are having so much fun.

If I cry or if I scream,

It will be a frightful dream.

And you will not think it is true,

Or empty through.

Can you see the colors now,

And hear the people saying wow.

With magic shows,

And river flows.

You are a beauty,

You little cutie.

For all the world can see you,

Please can I be you.
