Grandmother

Grandmother

A Poem by Amelie Poulain
"

It's hard to see someone die before you get to know them as much s you want to.

"

Even though your gone,

It's hard to imagine,

If only I had known you better,

If only there was time.

When I heard your time was coming,

I wanted to let you know,

That even though I met you once,

I loved you all the same.

I sent you a letter,

But I don't even know,

If you ever got it,

Or was it just to slow.

Life and death seem to know,

Because the day after you passed,

I met a new born boy.

I will always remember you,

You were so strong,

And when my time comes,

I hope that we may meet again.
