On those train tractsA Poem by Mika JeuelleI want to stand on those train tracks, Dare that train to just come on,
Throw my head in the air and laugh as though I am invincible,
Wave my arms and shout
with no one to hear or care.
My eyes are shining
But it is not from love,
It comes from something I cannot quite describe,
I feel intoxicated, high
Although I haven't taken
anything to warrant it,
I stand there,
My hair flying in the wind,
My laugh rippling through the air,
As I dare that force to come,
To stop me in my tractk,
To try to put an end to something we call life,
For at these times I feel as though nothing else can hurt me more than what already has.
