Untitled, For Now

Untitled, For Now

A Poem by MissLoneWolf74
"

I get picked on constantly at work because I am different. I'm a free spirit and I live life as I please. Every once in a while, it really hurts me. So, I just wrote this poem today to remind myself that I'm perfect just the way I am.

"

The rainbow I have been searching for

Has been inside of me all along

There is nothing about me that needs fixing

Nothing that is wrong

I am beautiful

In every way, shape and form

Life is so much better

When you're not part of the norm

I am not hurting anyone

By living life as I please

But some people still act

As if I have a disease

The real issue is with their own selves

Having nothing to do with me

Their ugliness quickly shows

Through their own insecurity

God made me this way

For no one will I change

So much more fun and happiness to be had

When you're a little strange
