The Loner Kid

The Loner Kid

A Poem by MissLoneWolf74
"

I am not an expert at writing poetry. I just write what I feel in my heart, and this is how I was feeling the other day. I write to be able express what I keep bottled up inside. It might be junk to other people, but it means something to me.

"

The loner kid

Always on her own

Everyone thinks she's weird

She's always alone

The trashy queen

From the southside

Day by day

The pain becomes harder to hide

Always not good enough

The last to join in

Always a loser

Can't ever seem to win

The loner kid's got plans

Dreams to see come true

One day her light

Will come shining through

The kid won't be trash then

She'll be a star in her own right

And for all the underdogs like herself

She'll be ready to take on their fight

This poem is lightyears better than some I've read. Actually, I think it's pretty good. Your completely understandable story is very well-written, in fact. If these are your true feelings and thoughts, they are a lot like the thoughts that teenage Samuel had. You'll come through--just do your best.

Hi. I'm a 34 year old female. I am the type of person to keep things bottled up inside, so writing for me helps me to get all that angst out and to express myself in ways that I have a hard time doin.. more..
