I dream of a day when there is only world peace
a day when all the unnecessary fighting will all cease
a day when children can safely play on the front lawn
the days of loving thy neighbor seem forever long gone

dispose of all the hatred and of all the violence
the evil beings in the world we shall forever silence
together as a whole we can bring change to the world
it's in your best interest for it's your child's future we hold

raise your children to always appreciate one another
teach them the importance of respecting others
children learn by example so a good one we shall set
lack of values and love in a household they will never forget

I dream of a day when retaliation is a thing of the past
a day when human kindness returns and will forever last
no longer will we have to live with this unwanted fear
I long for the day when peace and harmony will reappear
