Won't Be Missed

Won't Be Missed

A Poem by Justsimplyjulia

When all has been said,
and all has been done...
when the wiles of dread
have spared not one...

When the sun has set
and the moon has too,
they shall soon forget
man through and through.

All will be silent,
all will be still...
No thing shall be violent
if that is the Will:

-of what this place
could have once been...
without man's face
And without our sin.

We won't be missed
nor spared a thought...
all shall be blissed
amongst their lot.

Who shall cry our name
and remember us well?
When we are to blame
for the reason we fell.

Man shall die,
alone in our ways.
We will not be mourned,
in Gaia's end days.

I have no words......my voice is in my awe!! Sad but profoundly powerful! Well done!

the Earth won't miss us, that is for sure...we have tried hard to destroy it, but it will outlive us...and creation will go in reverse...and when there is nothing but land and water left...imagine how peaceful it will be.
no breath of us...just serenity...
i love this piece.

Thank you!
I'm not sure who Gia is although I've heard the name on one of James Taylor's songs. This is so well done. The rhymes flow effortlessly and the message is strong.

Great poem.
