and you can catch the stars in the palm of your hand.

to a place where all are equal,
under no sense of law.
Where there is no sin, nor wrong,
just love and innocence.
To a place where pain is but a distant nightmare.

Please.

Take me away to a place where death is surreal
and light has vanquished the dark.
Where food never runs scarce,
and wounds are preventable.
To a place where the skies are clear,
and the stars shine bright.

Just take me away from here.

I haven't listened to the song, given the present circumstances, but I have watched the video and followed the lyrics, and could see where part of your inspiration came from. This is amazing. You should take a moment to read my piece entitled "Sad Writes Strongest", for you have its message down pat! The majority of this poem is relatable, which is awesome, and the musicality and progression is simply cathartic! it wouldn't hurt to play with one possible line break (the second line): put "and reality a dream" on its own line (having taken out the "is" as sometimes the repetition of a verb is not necessary). But other than that, you got talent! You got craft! You have been blessed by the muses, and you are creating gold! Well done!
