Pregnancy

Pregnancy

A Poem by Connie

I will never have the same body like before,
I know for sure that I would ask for more.
My hips won’t lie and stretch marks may show,
But the thought of you will make me glow.
My mind will never be same,
There will be you and you are not to blame.
It will take nine months to be your mother,
But it will take my lifetime to be your Mom.
