I fEeL fReE

standing gently in the sunlight

i fill my lungs with the cool air

it finally feels like they are full

like for once i've taken in all im being offered

like for once i couldnt have done any better

all the potential energy has been turned to kinetic

and slowly that kinetic is turning to heat

heat im radiating to the world

like the heat the sun is radiating on me here where i stand

and i begin to feel an overwhelming calmness

all i have to think about here is gentle breaths

breaths that fill my lungs all the way

in a way that ive never felt before

here i can think of sweet dreams

i can live in sweet moments

i can feel accomplishment and a job well done

i can feel as though any choice i make is right

on this empty beach i listen

the sweet droning sound of silence

the consistent flowing of the waters

the feeling that everything is right in the world

the feeling that perfection does exist in small bursts

the feeling that im doing things right

fills my soul and sets free the stress bound up within

here on this empty beach i feel free
