Another MondayA Poem by Word MistressIn my house of teenagers two dogs an iguana a husband a mother in law who is always visiting, getting ready for work is a challenge, especially on Monday. Hope you laugh along and you can relate to this as well. The alarm goes off at 6am my dog wakes with a start I stumble to the bathroom to find my way in the dark The kids are up already, arguing another typical day I forgot my mothers in laws here she's over doing her stay I hate this scale it must be broken Hurry up mom my son has spoken The coffe bubbled over, I can't find my shoe My daughter goes running by, I think she has the flu O why is it Monday and everything so rushed? Oh I guess she is sick , I say ater the 3rd flush With all the chaos and hurriedness of the morn I hear my husband yelling and loudly honking his horn I don't get stressed I just laugh and say "Oh bloody hell" and just yell" It's Another Monday!"
