Calling

Calling

A Poem by Amy

I hear you call me,

even when we are apart,

your voice whispers to me,

it is the key to my heart.

I hear you breathing,

your soft air caresses my neck,

it smells of sweet honey,

never leaving regret.

I hear your heart beating,

it is perfectly in sync with mine,

as you pull me in closer,

we move in concert-like time.

I hear you calling,

as I fall asleep and dream,

your presence never fails,

only you can make my heart scream.

This was wonderous to read. I loved every word of it. The entire piece is dripping with beauty and flowing with emotion. Again, great write!
(I didn't know what honey smelt like, and this poem was so gorgeous and touching that I actually got up and smelt the honey in my cabinet LOL)
