Candle LightA Poem by Amy
I watch you glow in the dark, as you light up his face, enough for me to see his striking features. Your wax drips along your side, hitting the table, forming tiny small bubbles, as they harden against the surface. Your light is dim, but it will do. He holds my hands in his, while staring into my eyes, telling me that he loves me. I see your flame reflect in his irises, brightening up his soul. You sure can enhance a romantic setting, I praise you for taking control. © 2008 Amy |
