Everybody's Fool

Everybody's Fool

A Poem by Amy

I thought I could trust you,

but now I know the truth.

I thought you could change,

but you don’t seem to try,

because you fail every time.

I thought that you actually cared,

and could look at things through someone else’s eyes,

instead of your own.

Yeah right.

You have been caught.

By me.

Don’t underestimate my judgement,

because I’m a hell of a lot smarter than you think.

You might be everybody else’s fool,

but not mine.
