Barely Breathing

Barely Breathing

A Poem by Amy

I feel my throat begin to tighten,

my air supply has been cut off,

as I submerge into the depths of the water.

I can feel my own pulse quicken in speed,

as I continue to hold my breath.

My vision begins to blur,

I can no longer see,

tiny palpitations rise up my oesophagus.

I am fighting inside my own body,

as I swallow the foul water that surrounds me.

My body has begun to unravel.

I am barely breathing,

no one seems to care,

is anyone around me?

I though someone was here…

why being sad,this shows sadness
there is lots of emotions here what an exciting write ,how wonderful you write
this is dreamy soft talking to the self and to the outside, soft whisper but sounding loud sounding like a shrill cry..to the world
I feel my throat begin to tighten,
as I submerge into the depths of the water.
I can feel my own pulse quicken in speed,

as I continue to hold my breath.
My vision begins to blur,
I can no longer see,
I am fighting inside my own body,
as I swallow the foul water that surrounds me.
I am barely breathing,

no one seems to care,
is anyone around me?
I though someone was here
oh sweet, but off course we care ,lots will care
wonderful...
