Where

Where

A Poem by nastasimir

Where

Where, tell me where should I go to look for you?

Where can I find you?

Because of you, I can’t fall asleep at night.

Tell me how to reach you.

Oh, if it were that easy, everyone would have you.

If I knew the way, I might not even start.

Let it last, it's better this way.

Maybe I would get mad from my desire and greed.

If I ever find you.

On the arch of the rainbow above the mountain,

At the sea cliff and everywhere I would go.

Where would I go without the concern that bothers me?

I made peace with my fate.

I spread the embroidered linen shroud for you.

I feel this one, which is the mark of an effective poem! "Oh, if it were that easy, everyone would have you"--what makes this poem feel so unique to me is I feel it could apply to a personal unrequited love as well as a more parasocial one. An interesting perspective.
