Moon

The moon sneaks through the branches

As though the thoughts of my hopes

He sneaks up and is silent.

The night is listless and silent

What does the moon foretell in silence

I hear the heart

Come out and dispel my suspicions

Beautiful nature scenes in this poem. Excellent writing 👍 it's like seeing moon inbetween braches.

What does the moon foretell in silence? Such a fascinating question posed that perfectly captures the anticipation of a bated breath. Love this.

Many is the time I have gazed on the aloof moon, shining bright, against the backdrop of shadows. I enjoyed the imagery here and pondered on the situation. I moon gaze when something is on my mind. Thank you for posting.

Whoa. Interesting moment you've bottled here. To me, it reads restless, almost impatient. But that's my interpretation. I love the imagery. What is the story here?
