My heart on a plate, for all the world to see. Please...please-stab me now.

Wake with me,
inside the sun.
Intertwine your
softness with mine.
Let's stay here forever
and leave
the world behind.
Oh, if only for a moment
you'd place your affections
on your tongue,
planting its' existence
inside my body.
I would give up
all of my secret sins,
shamlessness unforetold.

It is not enough
to stare at the stars
and ask for something
that is not there.
Be here with me
and promise me
everlasting life.

I think thats the journey of the writer, its a constant struggle, breaks are a good thing so long as you return to your craft... i too weave in and out of my writing, but trust me, you definitely have talent and a strong voice.
