"You're lost, let me
show you the way."
This is what I heard
yet you lead me astray.

Drag me to the edge
show me sweet light
forgive me of my sins,
wash away my plight.

Drown me in your world
make me leave
mine behind.
Give me new life
back to the beginning; erase and rewind.

For a time I did walk a
new path.
Touched new flowers,
unaware of your wrath.

I've fallen from the skies,
back down to earth.
The cold gravel grates my skin,
you've shown me just what I'm worth.
