Sea Foam and SeagullsA Poem by Doug
There’s a sand glaze On the white bare feet Walking down Your hand is warm in mine As a cold salt water Inches up to us. Sea foam and seagulls Litter the beach. We’ll sit on wind chilled sand And watch the sun dive Like a seagull into the Pacific. My arms will warm you Until night takes over. And I won’t speak. I will mist you with kisses. © 2008 Doug |
