All That is LifeA Poem by Doug
Frozen brown grass is still To the wind that whistles Past my cracked window. Grandpa’s desk was moved Three weeks back. I needed life in front of me. And I write. I write the wood floor creaks, The shed rust, And barn wood rot. I write all that is life; The barn loft owl family, Whitetail deer field jumping, And you. I write all that is life And it’s you. © 2008 Doug |
