Silent

Silent

A Poem by Doug

Let this weekend come.

We’ll be like monks

In a French monastery,

Silent.

We’ll expose bare walls

And unplug cords,

Crawl into bed;

Silent.

A single candle

Will light this apartment

As we worship

With fingers and lips

Across each’s body.

Let this weekend come.

I’m ready to be

Silent.

ooooh, I love this. I want to be silent too. Expose bare walls. Tenderhearted.
I love it.

About
One night while I was asleep I had the words, "Veni, Vidi, Vici" repeating in my head. All night this happened. I want to somehow use this creatively. I feel like it was a sign to use it for some s.. more..
